We recently helped donate a hermit crab habitat for the kids in Mrs. Pospech’s classroom. They needed a class pet and hermit crabs are great little pets for kids getting used to having a classroom pet. Here’s what she had to say:
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”-Dr. Seuss
My students are amazing kids that want to learn and explore the world through books and stories. Unfortunately, sometimes their background knowledge and lack of vocabulary can hold them back. My students are fabulous kids that can do great things when given the appropriate tools. With your help and support we can make sure their adventures are awesome.
The hermit crab habitat and accessories will be a great new addition for our little crabby friend and classroom. It will allow us to observe it in it’s new home and help teach responsibility and respect for others. My students will also be able to see how their actions affect others.
The benefits of this project are endless and will be able to be used in the classroom to help other generations of students as well.My students are amazing kids that want to explore the world and have awesome experiences. Please consider donating to our project to help them experience some awesome adventures.
Of course we were more than happy to make the donation, and both the kids and the crabs all look very happy! Here’s what Ms. Pospech said about the arrival of the crabs:
Thank you so much for funding and believing in my project! The students LOVE the hermit crabs and their Sponge Bob themed tank. I can’t believe how much they love watching and observing them.
The hermit crabs allow us to observe them in their new home as well as help teach responsibility and respect for other things. The students really enjoy observing them explore and find new hiding spots throughout the day, and I love that there is such a lot to learn about.
Thank you again for all of your support!
